The Super Bowl is one of the most watched events internationally, which translates into a fantastic promotional tool that many studios take advantage of to launch their trailers. Last year, Marvel Studios opted to release a first preview of ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’, this time, it was the turn of ‘Thunderbolts*’, which has left us with a mix of images already seen with new ones, of which the powers of Sentry/The Void and the chaotic but fun relationship between the protagonists can be highlighted. In addition, two new posters have also been published.
The trailer begins with Allegra de Fontaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) explaining to some magistrates that the Avengers are missing, so a new team must be formed to keep the population safe. Just then, it cuts to an image of New York succumbing to the powers of The Void (Lewis Pullman), who is able to make people disappear, leaving a kind of atomic shadow.

It is then that Yelena (Florence Pugh) mentions that no member of the team has the powers to combat this powerful threat, which rips off Bucky’s (Sebastian Stan) metal arm and throws Red Guardian (David Harbour) through one of the windows of the old Avengers tower, now owned by Allegra de Fontaine.
Next, we are shown new images of the team also made up of USA Agent (Wyatt Russell), Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen) and Taskmaster (Olga Kurylenko) and their horrible teamwork that will most likely serve as comic relief for the film. However, this team seems to be soon breaking up with the death of Taskmaster, who we only see at the apparent beginning of the film, when the characters are getting to know each other. We don’t see anything of her when the team is already formed and working.

‘Thunderbolts*’ hits theaters in May 2nd.
Lewis Pullman is in charge of playing Bob, one of the most complex characters in Marvel comics: He is an alcoholic and psychotic who one day drinks a secret formula from a laboratory. In this way, he manages to gain “the power of a million exploding suns”, becoming Sentry, one of the most powerful heroes of the publishing house.
However, her psychological problems cause her to develop a second personality: The Void. This is an entity whose abilities are as extensive as they are powerful, so it remains to be seen how a team that only “shoots and punches” can defeat it.
