The next part of the Terrifier saga is scheduled to hit theaters this 31 of October, with David Howard Thornton returning to his role as the notorious “Art the Clown”. This film is expected to elevate the horror experience even further, intensifying the brutality and gore to new heights and promising a terrifying ride that surpasses its predecessors.
After almost two years of waiting, Art the clown is back and ready to decorate the Christmas tree with the entrails of his victims. This week Terrifier 3, a new film directed by Damien Leone, hits european cinemas and has already turned many stomachs around the world.
“I can honestly say that we just shot one of the most incredibly horrifying scenes in the Terrifier franchise,” said director Damien Leone, who also helmed the first two installments. “You’ll never imagine who couldn’t stand it on set,” he added on social media.
Terrifier 3 has grossed over $18 million in its first three days of release, averaging $7,263 per screen across 2,514 theaters. This strong performance places Terrifier 3 at the top of the box office rankings, followed by Robot Salvaje in the second spot and Joker: Folie à Deux in third.
The third installment of Terrifier continues the chilling story of Sienna and her younger brother, Jonathan, as they try to move on with their lives after surviving Art the Clown’s brutal Halloween massacre. As they prepare for the holiday season, hoping to leave the horrors behind, their peace is shattered once again when the sinister clown returns, bent on transforming their festive celebrations into a new nightmare.
The film promises an atmosphere thick with dread, featuring Art the Clown bringing his twisted malevolence to a Christmas setting, proving that even the holiday season isn’t safe from his havoc.
David Howard Thornton reprises his terrifying role as Art the Clown in Terrifier 3. Lauren LaVera returns as Sienna Shaw, with Elliot Fullam as Jonathan, Samantha Scaffidi as Vicky Heyes, and wrestler Chris Jericho joining the cast as Nurse Burke.
The film also stars Daniel Roebuck, Tom Savini, Jason Patric, Antonella Rose, Clint Howard, Annie Lederman, Sienna Hubert-Ross, and Jon Abrahams, rounding out the ensemble of this highly anticipated horror installment.
