Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin performed at the 2026 Super Bowl Halftime Show alongside Bad Bunny. These two stellar artists were part of one of the most special events of the year.
Last Sunday the Super Bowl LX took place at San Francisco’s Rams Levi’s Stadium, where the Seahawks went home as the winners. NFL announced that the Puerto Rican Bad Bunny was going to be headlining the musical event in between the match’s half.
Benito gave an amazing performance and also offered several surprises throughout his very awaited show. Everyone watching the Apple Music Halftime Show at the Super Bowl LX was able to kind of feel what Puerto Rico is about. However, no one expected two of the most iconic artists of the 2000’s and 2010’s to appear at such an event. Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin performed at the Super Bowl LX as a way to represent America as a whole.

Lady Gaga performing at the 2026 Halftime
Gaga appeared on stage out of the blue and turned the reggaeton show into a salsa version of her super hit Die With a Smile. Behind a real wedding that was also having place, the New York singer and producer adapted her fire tune for the Latin show. Mixed with salsa influences, Die With a Smile went perfectly to keep up the show’s great energy.
Surrounded by a group of amazing musicians and dancers, Gaga also had some salsa moves to go with her performance. In addition to all of this, the musical salsa display took place in a plaza-style set. Once she finished her song, Bad Bunny joined her to dance together over an instrumental version of his track DeBí TiRaR MáS FOToS.
On the other hand, the Born This Way singer’s outfit also was one of the elements that symbolized Bad Bunny’s homeland. Lady Gaga wore a dress that was inspired by Puerto Rico’s flag, as it was a vibrant blue gown with a stunning red maga flower on her shoulder. Adding the island’s national flower was a nice touch to connect with its Latin roots and keep on the show’s theme.
The legend pop icon also wanted to share her gratitude over Benito on her socials after the football event. “It was my absolute honor to be a part of Benito’s halftime show. Thank you Benito for inviting me and thank you to the entire cast for welcoming me onto your stage. I am so humbled to be a part of this moment. It’s all the more special because it was with you and your beautiful heart and music. I wouldn’t miss it for the world,” said Lady Gaga on her Instagram.
Ricky Martin performed at the Super Bowl
Ricky Martin was also part of the 2026 Super Bowl Halftime show with his performance of Bad Bunny’s Lo Que Le Pasó a Hawaii. Everyone went crazy when seeing the Puerto Rican icon, as he is one of Latin music’s most popular artists of all time.
A symbolic, emotional and powerful interpretation of Benito’s tune was one of the most commented moments of the night. His presence on Sunday’s show reinforced the idea of sharing Puerto Rico with the world. Furthermore, it was a sign as well of the generational continuation of Latin music with the rise of new talents.

Ricky also shared with fans his gratitude for being part of such an event on his socials. “Me tienen que dar varias horas para dejarme entender el tsunami de emociones que estoy sintiendo. Gracias @badbunnypr , gracias @ladygaga thank you @nfl @rocnation and @applemusic.” (Translation: I need a couple more hours to process the tsunami of emotions I am feeling right now).
Ricky and Benito’s friendship goes back some time now, as it is not the first time they exchange kind words. Not even two weeks ago, Martin decided to send an open letter to Bad Bunny after his historic Album of the Year Grammy win. “Benito, brother, seeing you win three Grammy Awards, one of them for Album of the Year with a production entirely in Spanish, deeply moved me.”
In his letter, Ricky made sure to express his gratitude as a fellow Puerto Rican. “Not just as an artist, but as a Puerto Rican who has toured stages all over the world carrying his language, his accent and his history.”
