As usual, the Met Gala 2026 takes place on the evening of the first Monday of May, which landed on the 4th this year. On Monday, fans and paparazzi waited for the celebrities’ arrival at each of the main hotels.

Moreover, following the expectation this kind of event creates over the years, it soon went viral online. It is such a phenomenon because it mixes creativity with curiosity, ending with an outstanding result. Here are some of the singers who attended the 2026 Met Gala.

Beyoncé, Bad Bunny, Rihanna, Madonna and more at the Met Gala 2026

One of the most striking appearances of the night came with the legendary Queen B. While Beyonce’s arrival was already confirmed, it was a surprise as it had been ten years since her last attendance. The Single Ladies singer attracted everyone’s attention as she entered the MET’s stairs. Moreover, due to such a moment, they made sure no other celebrity was left on the stairs.

Beyoncé was dressed in haute couture design created by the talented designer Olivier Rousteing. It was an astonishing bejeweled skeleton that made everyone’s jaw drop. Beyoncé arrived as one of this year’s Met co-chairs with her husband Jay-Z and their daughter Blue-Ivy. With her appearance, the legendary artist reaffirmed her status as one of the icons in fashion and entertainment.

Another of the big stars of the fashion night was Bad Bunny. The Puerto Rican artist shocked the attendees with a completely unexpected look. The Debí Tirar Más Fotos singer came in characterized with an aged aesthetic and a conceptual image. He rapidly became one of the night’s main topics online.

Following his own style and free spirit, the Latin artist fought against the typical male suit. He wore a custom Zara, starring a big dark bow and an elegant cane. The thing that shocked people the most about Benito’s look was his greatly made prosthetic version of himself 53 years into the future. The makeup artist Mike Marino was in charge of creating the complete cosmetology glance, featuring wrinkled skin, white hair and sunspots.

On the other hand, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky reclaimed the spot as one of the most photographed couples of the night. The Barbados singer went in with a dramatic and original gown. She was “donning a sculptural metallic ensemble custom-designed by Maison Margiela under Glenn Martens”. Whereas the American rapper and model chose a classy yet eclectic suit. A$AP wore a pink Chanel long jacket, paired with a custom vibrant set of jewelry form his own design label, called PAVĒ NITEŌ.

Madonna’s look for the 2026 Met Gala also became one of the most commented of the night. The ‘Queen of Pop’ paralyzed the blue carpet with an exclusive design from Saint Laurent that starred a beautiful lacey black gown. The shocking thing was her referencing Leonora Carrington’s The Temptation of Saint Anthony. The legendary music icon arrived with six women that held her grey veil, giving us the perfect referential visual.

Some other artists that gave us iconic moments were the Blackpink’s members. Specifically, Lisa and Jennie’s looks stood out from the rest of the celebrities at the event. As it is customary for her, Janelle Monáe managed to become one of the best dressed artists of the night. Katy Perry kept her identity unknown for a period of time thanks to her original fencing-style mask. This was the singer’s comeback to the Met Gala since 2022.
