P. Diddy gained a legal win on Friday during his ongoing trial, as the prosecution’s final witness testified that women were not coerced into participating in the rapper’s infamous “freak-off” sex marathons.

Brendan Paul, Diddy’s former assistant—who has also been described by authorities as a “drug mule”—testified under an immunity deal.
Paul, 25, worked as P. Diddy’s assistant from 2022 until March 25, 2024, when he was arrested at Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport for cocaine possession. At the time of the arrest, he was reportedly en route to the Bahamas for a family vacation with the rapper.
On the stand, Paul shared that Combs’ former girlfriend, referred to as “Jane” during her previous testimony under a pseudonym, willingly participated in the events known as “freak-offs” or “king nights.”
Paul said he would regularly speak with Jane after each event and never heard anything suggesting her involvement was non-consensual.
Brendan Paul Says Woman Was ‘Willing Participant’
Prosecutors have accused Combs of using his celebrity status, influence, and violence to pressure women—particularly his partners—into participating in sex marathons. They allege his actions amount to sex trafficking and involvement in a racketeering conspiracy.
The defense, set to present its case next week, contends that the government is attempting to criminalize consensual sexual activity. While Combs’ legal team acknowledges instances of domestic abuse, they argue that the federal charges do not apply.
Combs, 55, has pleaded not guilty.
During Friday’s court session, Paul emphasized that Jane appeared to participate voluntarily in the hotel encounters. He said he often cleaned the rooms afterward, describing them as left in “disarray.”
Under cross-examination by Diddy’s lawyer, Brian Steel, Paul was asked if he ever had reason to believe Jane was unwilling.
“Absolutely not,” Paul responded.
P. Diddy Rolplayed As Micheal Jordan
According to Jane’s recent testimony, Combs frequently engaged in elaborate sexual role-playing scenarios. She claimed that he often likened himself to basketball legend Michael Jordan, which has reportedly left the NBA icon upset about being referenced in the ongoing trial.
Jane testified that the role-play scenarios involved Combs comparing the participants to well-known athletes: the male escorts hired for the sessions were referred to as “Shaquille O’Neal,” Jane herself was called “Kobe Bryant,” and Combs would take on the persona of “the GOAT”.
These “hotel nights,” Jane said, were the same type of “freak-offs” previously described by singer Cassie Ventura in her own accusations against Combs.
Jane further alleged that she was pressured into taking part in these degrading encounters involving male sex workers, claiming they were orchestrated to satisfy Combs’ sexual desires.
according to a report from the Daily Mail, Michael Jordan was privately made aware that his name had been invoked during the trial. A source close to the former NBA star said he found the situation “weird” and wants no part in the matter, preferring to distance himself entirely from the controversy.
Family Shows Support on Father’s Day
Despite the legal turmoil, Combs received public support from his children on Father’s Day. The Grammy-winning music mogul is a father to seven children with four different women.
His children include: Quincy, 33; Justin, 30; Christian “King,” 27; Chance, 18; twins D’Lila and Jessie, 18; and Love Sean, 2.

King posted a childhood photo of himself with Combs, writing: “Happy Father’s Day, Pops! I love you & miss you! We’re waiting for you at home.”
A post from Love’s account featured a photo of her and Combs together, captioned, “Happy Dada Day!”
“Our Super Hero”: Children Defend Their Father
Justin also honored his father, expressing unwavering loyalty. “Thank you for giving me life and always being present! My Super hero!” he wrote. “I’m W you 4ever no matter what! Miss you & love you.”
Last October, Justin shared a family photo and issued a joint message on behalf of his siblings, pushing back against public backlash and social media speculation.
“The past month has devastated our family,” he said. “Many have judged both him and us based on accusations, conspiracy theories, and false narratives. We stand united, supporting you every step of the way. We hold onto the truth, knowing it will prevail, and nothing will break the strength of our family. WE MISS YOU & LOVE YOU DAD.”
