NBA All-Star roster locked in for 2026 spectacle

Indianapolis: The NBA unveiled its full All-Star roster Thursday, confirming a star-studded lineup shaped by fan, player and media voting. The final names added to the list ensure the midseason classic keeps its blend of spectacle, rivalry and star power.

Western conference All-Stars

In the West, Devin Booker earns another All-Star nod as one of the league’s premier scorers on the perimeter. Donovan Mitchell joins him with his trademark explosiveness in the backcourt. While Draymond Green returns as the emotional and defensive anchor, orchestrating offense and setting the tone physically. Around them, veteran bigs and versatile forwards help round out a group built to run, switch and entertain for 48 minutes.

Eastern conference All-Stars

On the Eastern side, Paolo Banchero represents Orlando’s new era with his all-around scoring and playmaking. Cade Cunningham brings Detroit’s lead-guard presence to the showcase, and Jarrett Allen adds interior defense and efficient finishing at the rim. Alongside them, established stars and creative playmakers give the East a mix of size, skill and shooting that matches the West’s firepower.

Deni Avdija’s breakout

Deni Avdija emerges as a first-time All-Star for the Portland Trail Blazers. Capping a transformative season of two-way excellence in the Western Conference. The Israeli forward has elevated his game to new heights: averaging 20 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists while locking down opponents with versatile defense. His smooth transition from role player to lead wing underscores Portland’s rebuild, and adds international flair to the roster.

Jamal Murray’s long-awaited moment

Jamal Murray steps onto the All-Star stage for the first time. Amilestone that feels like a culmination of years of postseason heroics and steady regular-season production. The Denver guard has built a reputation for thriving when the pressure spikes, combining smooth shooting, off-the-dribble creation. His selection acknowledges not just this season’s numbers but a body of work that has helped keep Denver in the contender conversation.

Jalen Duren’s rapid rise

Jalen Duren also makes his All-Star debut, a significant achievement for one of the league’s youngest starting centers. His game is built on power in the paint—relentless rebounding, rim protection and high-efficiency finishes—yet he has begun to show flashes of expanded offensive responsibility. For Detroit, his presence in the All-Star Game signals a cornerstone emerging, and for the league, it introduces a new interior force on its biggest regular-season stage.

LeBron still belongs

LeBron James’ selection at 41 sparks “fairness” debates, with some questioning his stats against younger stars. But the All-Star Game prioritizes entertainment and unique icons—LeBron’s elite vision, dunks and longevity keep him indispensable. His gravitational pull on the court ensures must-see moments that elevate the entire showcase.
