Disney and Hannah Montana fans freaked out when hearing about the new special event they have planned for the show’s 20th anniversary. The unexpected but very awaited celebration will take place on March 24, 2026, on Disney+.
Which comes as no surprise since that same day exactly coincides with the show’s first airing in 2006. Moreover, they confirmed that it will be called Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special.

“The fact that it still means so much to people all these years later is something I’m very proud of. This ‘Hannahversary’ is my way of celebrating and thanking the fans who’ve stood by me for 20 years,” the Hannah Montana actress admitted.

As well as a more mature and emotional version, with Miley’s current voice, of some of the show’s most popular songs. Disney also confirmed that it will have a special format, after it consists of a recorded live event.
The platform announced that it will include a concert segment with a live audience, followed by an intimate talk and an interview. This last part will be conducted by one of the country’s most popular podcast hosts, Call Her Daddy’s Alex Cooper.
