Iconic pop star Kylie Minogue decided to bring dance music to the winter season with her new festive album Kylie Christmas (Fully Wrapped). The new disc’s official launch date is December 5, 2025.
The Australian and British icon celebrates her original Christmas album’s 10th anniversary with this new launch. In which, she combines all of her best classical festive repertoire with more modern tunes. Minogue admitted that some of her best-known songs, such as Santa Baby, It’s The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year, Santa Claus Is Coming To Town and Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas, will be included.
New Christmas Hits
Furthermore, the new LP will contain four new tracks called Hot In December, This Time Of Year, Office Party and XMAS. This last tune is Minogue’s first single from the new album and comes as a preview. It was released when she first announced the new album’s launch back in November. Moreover, XMAS was initially published as an Amazon Music Original, as a result of this some fans did not have access to her latest tune, as the other option is to acquire the CD or vinyl.
The Can’t We You Out of My Head artist talked about how she felt when creating this new production. “Revisiting ‘Kylie Christmas’ 10 years on has been so much fun,” Minogue said. “Fully Wrapped has given me the chance to write and record four new songs and add a little extra sparkle – I can’t wait for everyone to turn up the volume on the new single, XMAS!”, she admitted.
By the fireplace, or out in the street / Oh, I don’t care as long as you are next to me / Even in the cold, we’re feelin’ the heat / You and me together underneath the tree / But I think we’re gonna have a magical time / Ringin’ all the bells on the edge of the night (Da-da-da-da) / No one knows the words but we’re singin’ along / To our song – XMAS lyrics.
10 Years In The Works
On the other hand, Kylie also admitted that this album has been in the making for a decade now. She talked about how her new album’s first idea came right after releasing Kylie Christmas in an interview with The Sun. “The song comes from 2015. I was at Soho House in Berlin, it was summer on the terrace and we’d just done the first Christmas album,” she admitted. “We’d had a couple of glasses of wine … and it came to us like YMCA but XMAS. I’ve been sitting on the chorus for 10 years.”

In addition, in the interview she talked about the possibility of Kylie Christmas (Fully Wrapped)’s XMAS being such a hit that it takes the charts’ first position. “I’m not counting on it,” she said. “It would be crazy but that’s definitely parked to one side for me. I am just happy that ten years have passed since my last Christmas album and we are all here still going.”
