After more than two years of dating, the youngest Jenner (27) and the “A Complete Unknown” actor (29) finally made their red carpet debut as a couple at the 70th David Di Donatello Awards in Rome, where Chalamet received the David for Cinematic Excellence honor.
Jenner, dazzling in a Schiaparelli gown, and Chalamet’s joint appearance was undoubtedly a public declaration of how much their relationship has evolved. A source explained to Us Weekly that the couple “have gotten really serious, and this was a big step.”
But they’ve taken even bigger steps at home.

“Kylie’s really happy and relieved they finally made their debut. It was time and she wanted to publicly support him and show how proud of him she is,” a source exclusively tells Us Weekly. “She and Timothée have gotten really serious, and this was a big step.”
The insider adds Jenner and Chalamet’s red carpet debut last week is not the only major step forward for the couple:
“They are practically living together at this point, as he stays at her house often when he is not working,” the source says. “He has been fully integrated into her life.”
Though their romance started back in 2023, they have kept it very low-key up until earlier this year, when Jenner was by Chalamet’s side for the entirety of the awards season, including the Academy Awards and the Golden Globes.
“Everything is going really well. She’s proud to stand by him and felt like it was the right time to share that part of their relationship. They are in a really good place,” the source notes. “He makes her feel calm and confident and it is a different relationship from what she has had in the past.”
