JYP’s project, even with the hiatus of one of their vocalist, Lia, announced plenty of dates for their upcoming world tour Born to Be
Good news for K-Pop lovers. ITZY, one of the most listened to girlgroups on the scene, has announced their return to the stage. They will return with an international tour that will go across the globe in Asia, Australia, New Zealand, South America, the United Kingdom, Europe and North America.
The group’s second world tour, which they have titled Born To Be. The successor to the Checkmate tour promises to bring a unique show worthy of the impressive performances of these artists. In addition, it will be the first time that the group performs in Latin America, the United Kingdom, Europe, Australia and New Zealand, so expectations are very high for the Itzy Born to Be Second World tour.
Hiatus of beloved member Lia is making Mydzys all across the world ask themselves if she will return in time to join her partners. JYP has not made an official statement but it is very unlikely that this would happen. Lia’s hiatus has not been announced to be ending anytime soon. She is also not featured in the World Tour official posters.
Watch the official announcement of the Born to be album:
This second world tour features 27 dates across all continents. Tickets for non korean dates will be available soon on LiveNation.
Twice world tour was much shorter and less ambitious in comparison
This is a huge bet from JYP Entertainment as not many of their groups get so many international dates outside of Asia. Twice, the biggest girlgroup of the company only had a few European dates. This could be a strategy to improve the younger group’s popularity. giving them more visibility could be a bigger goal rather than only selling tickets. The Itzy Born to Be Second World tour will be one of the biggest kpop group tours ever.
We will have to wait for a bit to see the band in Europe. The first European date will be London the 24th of April. Check the full calendar here:
