The popular girl group just launched a brand-new song that threatens the charts. Pinky Up was released just a few weeks ago, on April 9, 2026. This is the band’s more experimental tune to date, in which they explore a more rave-hyperpop style of music. With this fire track, the group announced that a new production is in the world and coming sooner than we think.
KATSEYE’s new big step comes with their third EP Wild, which will come out on August 14, 2026. A very awaited project that comes at the best moment, after their outstanding international success. What we know as of today is that the new production will count with five new songs. Pinky Up is the only one confirmed yet, as it is Wild’s first single.
While there is not more information about some other new songs, fans are already plotting for what is to come. Nevertheless, there has also been some controversy as Wild’s official announcement only talks about five members of KATSEYE. Not so long ago, on February 20, 2026, Manon announced that she was temporarily going on hiatus from the band. The Swiss singer talked about how she needed it to “focus on her health and wellbeing”. After the publication of Wild fans started to talk about if she was really gone from the girl band.
“I know everyone really wants a clear answer right now: has Manon left Katseye, or is she on hiatus, and if so, how long will it last? But clearly, keeping things ambiguous like this is the best approach they can take. If Manon has left the group, they won’t make an official announcement to avoid a wave of backlash. Yes, I know many people are already upset already, but it would be even worse if it were officially confirmed. So the best approach is to let people gradually get used to her absence, and when they feel the time is right, they will make an official statement,” said a fan on Reddit.
