Harry Styles will headline London’s Meltdown Festival 2026, as announced a few days ago. The pop superstar makes his musical comeback with everything his fans could dream of: a new album, a new tour, and a festival headliner. The Meltdown Festival will take place from June 11 to 21, 2026.
The British singer and songwriter just made it public that he will be in charge of headlining London’s Meltdown Festival 2026. Moreover, he will take on the creative direction as curator of the music event. The Sign of the Times singer will also be responsible for designing the lineup for the highly anticipated festival.

London’s Meltdown Festival is celebrating
This will be the musical event’s 31st edition and it will take place at London’s Southbank Centre. The Meltdown Festival 2026 will be one of the most special and memorable editions, as it coincides with the Southbank Centre’s 75th anniversary. A symbolic celebration with one of Britain’s greatest artists is the perfect way to mark the occasion. However, there is not an official complete lineup for the event. The event’s full program is expected to come out in spring 2026.

The musician shared his thoughts on having such a spot on the music event on Southbank Centre’s website. “My goal as the curator is to share the music and art that I love, and to celebrate the rich history of the venue. We both share a passionate belief that music is a vital part of life. It brings us together and the Southbank Centre has been at the heart of it, providing easy access to great music for the past 75 years,” said Harry Styles as he will headline London’s Meltdown Festival.
Harry’s announcement as the curator for the Meltdown Festival 2026
The official announcement was made just a few days ago by the event’s venue. Moreover, they took the chance to praise one of the most popular British artists being side to side to some of the best in the industry. “This summer Harry Styles joins a long line of prestigious names, including David Bowie, Yoko Ono, Nick Cave and Patti Smith, as the 31st curator of the annual Meltdown festival at Southbank Centre.”
“For eleven days in June the Southbank Centre will present a celebration of the eclectic tastes of the British pop icon, drawing on his broad array of influences from pop, soul, electronic and rock to underground scenes and emerging young British talent. Alongside a headline concert at the Royal Festival Hall from Harry Styles himself,” posted London’s Southbank Centre.
