Hailey Bieber threw subtle shade at her husband, Justin Bieber, on his first Father’s Day, continuing a series of eyebrow-raising social media exchanges between the couple.

While Justin Bieber, 31, shared a black-and-white Instagram photo calling himself “a dad that’s not to be f–ked with,” Hailey, 28, didn’t offer a traditional tribute. Instead, she commented bluntly: “Father’s Day sucks ass.”
The remark quickly went viral, especially since it mirrors Justin’s controversial Mother’s Day Instagram Note just a month earlier, where he wrote: “Love u moms but Mother’s Day sucks ass” and added, “Good luck today for anyone navigating Mother’s Day.”
Hailey and Justin Bieber: New Parents to Baby Jack Blues
The Biebers became first-time parents in August 2024, welcoming their son, Jack Blues Bieber, who is now 10 months old.
Despite the rocky tone on holidays, Justin did eventually honor Hailey on Mother’s Day, calling her the “best mommy day gurlie” and sharing photos of the mariachi band he surprised her with.
The model, who recently joked in a post that she’d be spending her summer indulging in “lemon drop martinis and therapy,” did not share any personal messages or greetings for her husband online.
Despite Justin Bieber’s emotional and frustrated tone in several Father’s Day Instagram posts, it appears Hailey did acknowledge the occasion privately. In one of his posts, Justin shared smiling selfies, showing off what looked like a new Audemars Piguet gold and diamond watch — a luxurious gift seemingly from Hailey.

Marriage And Recent Challenges
The couple married in 2018 and renewed their vows in Hawaii in 2024 while Hailey was pregnant. Since the birth of their son, Justin Bieber has made headlines for emotional Instagram posts and mental health concerns.
On Father’s Day, the “Peaches” singer shared a candid Instagram Story describing himself as “broken” and struggling with “anger issues.” He also criticized a friend who texted to ask how he was doing, saying: “Your concern doesn’t come off as care. It’s just oppressive.”
“People keep telling me to heal. Don’t you think if I could have fixed myself I would have already. I know I’m broken. I know I have anger issues,” he began in his message.
He “tried to do the work my whole life to be like the people who told me I needed to be fixed like them,” he continued, “and it just keeps making me more tired and more angry.”
This followed an incident just days earlier where Justin was caught on video yelling at a paparazzi in Los Angeles, demanding they “get out of [his] f–king face” and stop asking about his well-being.
Is It Too Late Now To Say Sorry?
Tensions escalated online after Justin celebrated Hailey’s first Vogue cover — but admitted in the post that he once told her she’d never land one.
“Yikes I know so mean,” he wrote, later adding, “Forgive me for saying you wouldn’t get a Vogue cover because clearly I was sadly mistaken.” He later edited the caption, replacing it with emojis.
Though Hailey didn’t directly address the comment, she told Vogue that their marriage remains strong despite public speculation:
“You would think after having a child, people would maybe move on, chill out a little bit, but no.”

Public Scrutiny Continues
Despite public tension and emotional moments shared on social media, Justin and Hailey Bieber continue to present a united front. The couple’s relationship, parenting journey, and celebrity status remain a major focus of fans and the media alike.
