The singer from California has officially started her “Guts Tour”, already her second trip around the globe world after her debut “Sour Tour”

Olivia Rodrigo has been at the very top of the music scene for many years and now she has the spotlight on her once again. While other global artist like Taylor Swift with her Eras Tour are giving concerts all over the world she is doing the same. Beginning this past 23rd of February and with special guests such as Pinkpantheress, The Breeders, Chapel Roan and Remi Wolf the Guts Tour, named after her last album has 57 concerts scheduled starting February and ending in late August 2024.

The Ex-Disney star from the High School Musical-inspired series has transformed since the release of “drivers license” in January 2021. The song debuted at number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and amassed 80 million views on Spotify in seven days. Her album SOUR (2021) earned her a Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Album. A year later, she embarked on her first international tour.

American fans already have Olivia coming for them. European fans will have to wait until April 30 for the first date in the continent in Dublin, Ireland. The tour will then come back to the States for some more concerts. Livies from Asia and Oceania will have to wait and see if the singer confirms more dates for the tour.

The tour is already giving fans iconic moments

During the concert, Olivia Rodrigo performed 22 songs, made 5 costume changes, and even got on top of a giant moon to sing her tune “logical“. She opened with ‘bad idea, right?‘ and closed with ‘get him back!‘. Interestingly, she excluded songs like ‘1 step forward, 3 steps back‘ and ‘hope ur ok‘ from ‘SOUR‘, instead surprising the audience with ‘Obsessed‘, a bonus track only available on select vinyls of ‘GUTS‘. Recordings of this last song are among some of the most searched content from the concert as it is not available on platforms like Spotify.

One of the standout moments from the first concert was when the artist shared an anecdote about turning 21. She humorously recounted going to a gas station to buy cigarettes, not intending to smoke them, but simply to celebrate her newfound freedom. Reflecting on the anxiety of growing up, she expressed hope for better days ahead.
