The supermodel and the actor were first spotted together in 2023.

Earlier this week, supermodel Gigi Hadid and acclaimed actor Bradley Cooper finally made their relationship Instagram official in celebration of a major milestone—Hadid’s 30th birthday.
The model shared a carousel of photos from her birthday bash, which she celebrated last month. Among the snaps, she included a sweet moment kissing Cooper in front of a birthday cake that read “Happy Birthday Mommy,” seemingly a sweet gesture from her daughter, Khai, whom she shares with former One Direction star Zayn Malik.
“I feel so lucky to be 30!” she captioned the post. “I feel so lucky for every high and low- for all the lessons and gifts both have brought me. To get to feel it all! I’m so lucky to be a mom, friend, partner, sister, daughter, colleague to some of the most unbelievable humans!!”
She went on to thank her fans for the love and support:
“So lucky for the support and encouragement from all of YOU around the world, every day and on my birthday last week. I had the best time celebrating, and it’s a blessing to feel so loved!! I am grateful and honored to take on a new decade x x G.”
When Gigi Met Bradley
Hadid and Cooper’s paths crossed in a setting far removed from the glitz of Hollywood. They met at a mutual friend’s child’s birthday party in 2023, a chance encounter that laid the foundation for their relationship.
Both being parents—Hadid to her daughter Khai, and Cooper to his daughter Lea—they found common ground in their shared experiences of parenthood. Hadid co-parents Khai with former partner Zayn Malik, while Cooper shares custody of Lea with ex-partner Irina Shayk.
Their shared commitment to their children has been a unifying factor in their relationship, allowing them to support each other in balancing personal and parental responsibilities.

While Hadid and Cooper have not publicly detailed their co-parenting strategies, they have shared insights into their blended-family dynamic. Their daughters have been spending time together and reportedly share a positive bond.
Additionally, Hadid has expressed appreciation for Cooper’s support and the positive influence he has on her life: “I just feel really lucky,” she said in a recent Vogue interview.
“And I feel that he gives so much to me: encouragement and, just, belief. For those people you admire to encourage you, it can create so much belief in yourself. Like, what’s the worst thing if I auditioned for this? You jump and take the leap”, she concluded.
Jumping Into The Public Eye
Initially, the couple chose to keep their relationship away from the public eye. “It’s just not part of our relationship to share for whatever reason,” Hadid previously shared.
Their first public appearance together was in October 2023, when they were spotted dining in New York City. Over time, they were seen together more frequently, attending events and enjoying vacations, including outings with friends like Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez
By January 2024, their relationship had progressed to meeting family members. Hadid joined Cooper and his mother, Gloria Campano, for dinner at Giorgio Baldi in Los Angeles following the Golden Globe Awards.
Hadid’s family has expressed support for her relationship with Cooper. Sources indicate that her family, including her mother Yolanda and sister Bella, appreciate Cooper’s respectful and loving demeanor.
Finally making their relationship Instagram official is a significant step, as it signals their comfort in sharing their relationship with the world.
First Public Outing After The Post
Just yesterday, the couple was seen enjoying a sunny walk in New York City. Hadid and Cooper were photographed with drinks in hand, both dressed stylishly.
While the couple didn’t attend the Met Gala together on Monday, Hadid revealed how Cooper was part of her day during a red carpet interview with Emma Chamberlain. Hadid said, “I woke up, I was with my man. We had a chill morning [with] some laughs.”
