Seven years ago, the dream ended for all the Fifth Harmony fans. After several tense moments, the famous girl group decided to take a break from each other. Since then, no one suspected that a reunion would happen. Fast-forward to August 2025, when the Jonas Brothers released a kept surprise from the audience at their concert in Dallas: Fifth Harmony reunites at their concert.
Many people noticed that they started to be active again in their joint X account at the end of August. Rumours escalated until the 4 former members appeared at the Jonas Brothers’ stage. They delivered a mash-up with their most popular songs and everyone had a blast.
After their stellar appereance, everyone wondered the same thing: is Camila Cabello going to join them? The thing is that the solo artist is currently touring her Yours, C Tour. The same night Fifth Harmony reunified she was about to perform in Sydney. Nevertheless, we are able to assume what she thinks as she commented on her ex-group socials. She showed love in the performance video’s comments with heart emojis.
Fifth Harmony Background
The group was formed thanks to the girls auditioning at The X Factor in 2012. All members looked forward to getting in, but they never thought the group assembled could become such a hit.

Lauren Jauregui, Normani, Ally Brooke, Dinah Jane and Camila Cabello launched their joint career after gaining the third place at the TV-show. Mentor Simon Cowell made sure to sign them in his discography brand in January 2013 as he saw potential hitmakers.
Fifth Harmony became one of the most successful tv-created bands ever.
Miss Movin’ On (2013) was their first-ever single and it entered the Billboard Hot 100 at #76. It also became the highest ranked classification for a The X Factor contestant.

Bo$$ (2014), Sledgehammer (2014), Worth It (2015) and All In My Head (Flex) (2016) were some of the other group’s biggest hits. Moreover, Fifth Harmony broke charts with the release of their second album 7/27 (2016). Their super hit Work from Home (2016) rapidly went up charts all over the world.

Despite the success, as years passed by the girl group’s popularity sank. Ever since Camila Cabello left -back in December 2016- they had been trying to get back on track. No memorable result came in to attenuate the bad situation. In March 2018 they finally decided to split and take an undefined break, so every member started their solo careers. Individually they have also created some smashing hits:
- Camila Cabello gained a lot of fans with Havana (2018) and Señorita (2018) -her collaboration with who was her partner at the time, the canadian singer Shawn Mendes.
- Normani has also managed to establish herself as a soloist with Motivation (2019) and her hit collaboration with Sam Smith Dancing with a Stranger (2020).
- Lauren Jauregui, Dinah Jane and Ally Brooke released as well many songs but they did not reach the numbers of Cabello’s and Normani’s.
And that was it until this end of summer, when Fifth Harmony reunites at the Jonas Brothers’ concert.
Is this a new beginning for Fifth Harmony?
As much as we would like to say it is, there has not been an official confirmation yet. Nevertheless, fans have been paying attention to their socials and some thing have changed.
The group’s website and logo have been updated and limited merchandising has been put on sale. All this was launched under the phrase Where were you on August 31, 2025? – date of the Jonas Brothers’ concert. Everything appears very bright for Fifth Harmony’s future and we will be waiting for what is coming.
