Lorde’s Ultrasound World Tour is a hit among fans. The New Zealander artist promotes her latest album Virgin (2025) during her fourth tour.
The Ultrasound World Tour kicked off barely a month ago and it keeps getting better. Moreover, it is planned to go from its start in Austin (US) September 17, 2025, to the last show in Inglewood (US) May 14, 2026.
One of her most memorable moments on tour came on October 18, during one of her shows at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles. Everyone freaked out when Lorde started singing towards someone that was surprisingly similar to her during Girl, So Confusing. Turns out that girl was Charli XCX, and she came onstage to perform next to her colleague. Fans cheered like never before for experiencing such an iconic moment. The Kia Forum jumped to Lorde and Charli as this collab is a guaranteed fan-favorite.
Lorde talked to Variety magazine about what this new era means to her. “It’s honestly been a completely transformative experience for me. A lot feels full-circle from my career starting 12 years ago. It makes me feel incredibly proud to be in something so plain where just enough happens, and then the missing piece is the audience, and they kill it every night. And I’m in my fucking T-shirt and jeans!” Lorde continues. “There’s something very incredible about stripping it back to that degree.”
During this interview with Variety, she also opened up about what she envisioned for this tour. “Virgin is very raw and unadorned — I really tried not to dramatize or dress anything up — so I knew that approach had to continue over to the tour. It just sort of revealed itself along the way: I would try to impose something on it and it would reject it, you know? Even things like, What if I wear this? Anything that felt decadent or overly adorned seemed too rich in the show. I talked so much at the beginning of making this about wanting to see the [underlying] wires because that’s a lot of the vibe of Virgin. Like, OK, you have this young woman and then here’s all the guts underneath.”
The Royals star announced she will be touring across North America, Europe and New Zealand. The Ultrasound World Tour began with its American leg last month, which had approximately 30 concerts. Some of its key shows in the US are:
- September 19, 2025: United Center (Chicago, IL)
- September 20, 2025: The Pinnacle (Nashville, TN)
- October 1, 2025: Madison Square Garden (New York, NY)
- October 19, 2025: The Greek Theatre (Berkeley, CA)
- October 22, 2025: Climate Pledge Arena (Seattle, WA)
