Céline Dion officially announces her return to the stage with new shows in Paris. However, it will not be the typical show with a variety of concerts around the world.
The Canadian icon makes her official comeback to the stage with a series of shows in the city of love. Dion’s very awaited return will take place in a residency in Paris later this year. For now, the event is called Céline Dion Paris 2026.
First this was just going to be for 10 special shows in Paris’ La Défense Arena. After the commotion and emotion that this news caused, the list was upgraded to 16 dates.
Céline’s residency will kick off on September 12, and there is a possibility that more shows will be added. According to official sources, the tickets’ presale began on April 7, for all of those interested in attending.

The announcement was made just a few days ago, on the same day as her birthday, on the singer’s Instagram page. Dion uploaded a video thanking her fans for being by her side all over the years and for all of the birthday wishes. Everyone was watching the video closely when she started saying she “had something important to tell”.
“Over the last few years, every day that’s gone by, I’ve felt your prayers and support, your kindness and love. You’ve helped me in ways that I can’t even describe, and I’m truly fortunate to have your support,” said the Canadian superstar announcing her comeback.
“This year, I’m getting the best birthday gift of my life…I’m getting the chance to see you, to perform for you once again in Paris, beginning in September! I’m so ready to do this. I’m feeling good, I’m strong, I’m feeling excited, obviously a little nervous, but most of all, I’m grateful to all of you! I can’t wait to see you again. I love you all and I’ll see you soon!,” Céline Dion admitted on her social media account.
Fans reacted immediately after hearing the great news on the singer post’s comments. “Happy Birthday, may God bless you .. so excited you are feeling better and singing again, the gift is to your fans for us too see and hear you once again😍🥰🙏,” said a fan on Instagram.
Another fan dedicated a piece of Dion’s own song, saying “I’ll be waiting for you, here inside my heart. I’m the one who wants to love you more !!! Be well Céline happy bday!!!! This is my childhood dream! Hope to see you on stage! ✨✨✨✨.” Everyone had good things to say as Céline Dion officially announces her return to the stage .
