Camila Cabello started her career by joining the girl band Fifth Harmony. After leaving the group in December of 2016 she began her solo career. Barely 2 years later in March 2018 the group, now with only 4 members: Lauren Jauregui, Normani, Ally Brooke and Dinah Jane split up, not without a last record by the 4 remaining members without Camila. Neither of them had solo careers as successful as Camila‘s. Now Camila is getting ready for another new beginning she has been teasing for a while.

The latest post, however, look very different so we could see a bit of everything. Camila Cabello‘s new project will most likely lean towards heartbreak, from what we sense from the ‘post’ with that rebellious look and screaming at a “bad Valentine’s Day.” It could be an album dedicated to her ex-partner, singer Shawn Mendes, with whom it seemed she would never break up. Since their relationship began in 2019, they confirmed at the end of 2021 that they were now good friends. They returned for a brief six months in 2023, ending their relationship again that summer. Now, Camila could use her new music to express how she has felt about that romance.
Camila is in the moment for consolidating her name as a global pop star. After the Familia era which did not convince some of her loyal fans, she has an opportunity to reinvent herself. During the 2020 pandemic, her Romance tour had to be cancelled so maybe, we are in for a new world tour from the Cuban singer.
As 2024 promises to be a great year for music fans with such names as Camila Cabello or Taylor Swift dropping new music. We are excited to see the official name and launch date for Camila‘s latest era and we will probably know that very soon.
