It’s official, Billy Ray Cyrus and Elizabeth Hurley are an item.

Over the Easter Weekend, the American country music star (63) and the British actress (59) jointly shared an Instagram post where Billy Ray can be seen kissing Hurley on the side of her face.

The couple even appeared to have coordinated their outfits, rocking a casual, farm-ready style and bunny ears.
The duo first crossed paths while filming the 2022 holiday movie “Christmas in Paradise” on the Caribbean island of Nevis. Their professional collaboration blossomed into a friendship, and over time, evolved into a romantic relationship.
This post served as a “hard launch” of their relationship, surprising fans and garnering widespread media attention. A source close to Billy Ray told PEOPLE that the relationship is very new:
“Liz is great and visited him for Easter. They’ve been seeing each other romantically for a little bit,” they said. “And how lucky is he? Liz is lovely. She’s very warm, positive and the best to be around.”
Life after divorce
Hurley has had several high-profile relationships over the years. Her last long-term relationship with the late Australian cricketer Shane Warne ended in 2013, following a marriage to businessman and entrepreneur Arun Nayar, a 13-year romance with movie star Hugh Grant, and a brief relationship with late businessman Steve Bing, whom she shares a son with.
Billy Ray has experienced a tumultuous personal life. After his messy divorce with Tish Cyrus, with whom he shares five children including pop icon Miley Cyrus, he married Australian singer Firerose in October 2023, but filed for divorce just seven months later in May 2024.
The source also told PEOPLE that Hurley is “amazing” for the “Achy Breaky Heart” singer, adding that he’s been focused on moving forward.
“The divorce and drama put him down. It was depressing,” the source expressed. “Liz is perfect for him to move on, and she won’t put up with any nonsense.”
