Young superstar Billie Eilish just announced the release of a new Hit Me Hard and Soft 3D Concert Movie. The new production is planned to come out in theatres on March 20, 2026, by the company Paramount Pictures.

Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour (Live in 3D) is Eilish first audiovisual project, that mixes live shows and movies. Moreover, its main objective is to present completely and conceptually her third studio album Hit Me Hard and Soft, launched in 2024. Furthermore, Eilish’s latest project comes into the hands of one of the best movie directors of all time. Avatar and Titanic filmmaker James Cameron will bring Billie’s latest tour to the big screens next year. Finneas, Billie’s brother, is also present in the movie as one of the producers.

Billie’s Shows in Manchester

Billie teased this new release on one of the filmed live shows in Manchester saying: “So, you may have noticed there’s more cameras than usual up here. Basically, I can’t say much about it but what I can say is that I’m working on something very, very special with somebody named James Cameron and it’s going to be in 3D.”

“So, take that as you will and these four shows here in Manchester, you and me are part of a thing that I am making with him. He’s in this audience somewhere, just saying. So don’t mind that, and also I’ll probably be wearing this exact outfit for like four days in a row”, she added.

In addition to this, after the show, the popstar wanted to give fans another surprise by announcing the release date. she stated this in her socials saying: “HIT ME HARD AND SOFT: THE TOUR (LIVE IN 3D) coming to theatres on march 20th 2026 !!!! 🥳🥳🥳 this has been one of my favorite tours everrrrrr and being able to capture it and co-direct this film with @jamescameronofficial has truly been a dream come true. can’t wait for you all to see it :’)🎥⭐️🤭💙.”

The Album and Tour

This new production will be one of her most personal and honest to date. In her latest album Hit Me Hard and Soft, we were able to see a different Billie, a more introspective and emotional version of her. It is very probable that we will see Billie in these kinds of moods in her new movie. Furthermore, they admitted that there will be a mix of emotions throughout the film, mixing aggressive, dark and sensual moments with fragile, sweet and melancholic features.

The Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour reached nearly 104 shows in total, stopping in North America, Europe, Asia and Oceania. Moreover, it kicked off in September 24, 2024, with Billie’s show in Québec (Canada) and it came to and end in November 23, 2025, in her San Francisco show. This tour was so outstanding Billie wanted to collect a memory in her upcoming movie, as this was “one of her favorite tour ever”.
