Beyoncé has announced her future album in the greatest way; through an advertisement in the most expensive minute on television, the Superbowl. The last game that defines the American football final has undoubtedly become one of the most anticipated musical moments thanks to its halftime show.
For this reason, the fact of announcing yourself at that moment that is so globally desired and viewed has become a luxury that few brands can afford. However, Beyoncé has used it so that the world can see her again and announce her new album with a bang, which will be the second part of Renaissance but this time with a country theme.
In addition, the singer of “Lemonade” has surprisingly published two unreleased songs belonging to this future album. The first is “Texas Hold ’em” with an imminently country sound with marked beats, banjos and choruses typical of this style. Beyoncé also wanted to publish a video where she is seen dressed provocatively in a kind of cowboy outfit and shooting with her fingers.
On the other hand, the second song that she has published as a surprise is called “16 carriages“, for which he has chosen a black and white visual with more intimate and traditional scenes. We can see her looking in the mirror while listening to a ballad in which Beyoncé shows off her unique and unmistakable voice, with a beat that has rock touches.
Beyoncé stole the show, along with Taylor Swift, at this year’s Superbowl, leaving Usher‘s performance in the background compared to the queen of the industry. The announcement, starring actor Tony Hale, was made together with Verizon, with whom she had been working in recent months, giving clues about what was coming. She also published a trailer for the next album on his YouTube channel announcing that it will be available starting March 29.
For her part, Beyoncé attended the Super Bowl final accompanied by her husband, the singer Jay-Z, and her daughters Blue Ivy (12) and Rumi (6), with whom she celebrated the announcement of her new premiere . With a leather outfit and a cowboy-style hat, the artist appeared at the sporting event to publicize her new musical side.
Beyoncé never stops surprising and remains constant in releasing new music. Her previous tour was a success both in concert and later in theaters thanks to the film that the singer wanted to create to compile the entire show.
