Bad Bunny made history this weekend as he launched his much-anticipated “No Me Quiero Ir De Aquí” residency in San Juan, Puerto Rico, delivering an electrifying and emotional show that set the tone for a summer-long celebration of Puerto Rican culture, music, and identity.

Performing for a packed Coliseo de Puerto Rico, the Grammy-winning artist took the stage for the first of 30 shows that will span three months, highlighting his deep connection to the island he calls home.
A Cultural Celebration Rooted in Home
The show opened with a never-before-heard track, sending fans into a frenzy and setting the stage for a night that blended Bad Bunny’s biggest hits with songs from his latest album, “Debí Tirar Más Fotos” (“I Should Have Taken More Photos”).
The performance was a rich mix of styles — reggaetón, salsa, trap, folk, and acoustic elements — all unified by a common thread: a passionate tribute to Puerto Rico.
Bad Bunny, born Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, visibly took in the moment as he gazed at the thousands of cheering fans, many of whom were attending as part of a locals-only audience.
With heartfelt lyrics, powerful visuals, and cultural pride on full display, he honored Puerto Rico’s resilience, beauty, and complexity.
A Residency Made for Puerto Ricans, by a Puerto Rican
In a move that sets this residency apart, the first nine shows are exclusive to Puerto Rican residents, reinforcing Bad Bunny’s mission to give back to his community. After rising to international fame and spending time in Los Angeles, the artist has returned to center Puerto Rico in his music and message.
The Coliseo will host concerts every weekend (Friday–Sunday) through mid-September, turning San Juan into the epicenter of Latin music for the summer of 2025.
Even celebrities like LeBron James were spotted in the audience for opening night, but make no mistake — this residency is a love letter to la Isla del Encanto.

Bad Bunny’s 2025 Setlist
After wrapping up his final residency show in September, Bad Bunny will embark on a global tour, conspicuously skipping the United States.
The move aligns with his outspoken criticism of the mistreatment of Latin communities, particularly Puerto Ricans, and underscores his commitment to using music as a vehicle for political and cultural advocacy.

For fans lucky enough to attend the residency, or for those following from afar, the full 2025 Bad Bunny setlist is a powerful showcase of his artistic vision. Spanning five acts over a three-hour concert, the performance kicks off with his latest unreleased track, “ALAMBRE PúA.”
