The Puerto Rican global superstar will headline the Apple Music Halftime Show at Levi’s Stadium, marking his first solo performance at the NFL’s biggest event.
Bad Bunny, the most streamed artist on the planet and a symbol of Latin music’s global takeover, has been officially announced as the headliner for the Apple Music Halftime Show at Super Bowl LX, which takes place February 8, 2026, at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
At 31, the Puerto Rican hitmaker—winner of three Grammy and twelve Latin Grammy awards—becomes the first solo Spanish-language artist to perform at center stage during the NFL’s marquee event, after guest appearances alongside Shakira and Jennifer Lopez in Super Bowl LIV (2020).
Bad Bunny succeeds Kendrick Lamar, who delivered the most-watched halftime show in history at Super Bowl LVIX this year. The 2026 show will take place between the artist’s successful “Choli” residency in Puerto Rico and an anticipated world tour that notably skips U.S. arena dates, making the Super Bowl the star’s only U.S. concert of the year.
Known for crossing genres, fusing cultures, and breaking streaming records—the artist’s latest album ‘DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOTos’ earned over 7 billion Spotify plays in less than a year—Bunny referred to the opportunity as “a touchdown for my people, my culture, and our history,” celebrating those who paved the way for Latinos in music. “Go tell your grandma: we are going to be the HALFTIME SHOW AT THE SUPER BOWL,” he wrote in his official statement.
NFL executive Jon Barker called Bad Bunny “an exciting choice” for his “unique ability to unite genres, languages, and audiences,” while Jay-Z, whose Roc Nation produces the show, praised Bunny’s impact and inspiration for Puerto Rico and for Latinos worldwide. Apple Music will once again stream and sponsor the halftime performance, reinforcing the league’s aim to reach younger and more diverse audiences.
Regardless of setlist, the performance will be one of the most anticipated cultural moments of 2026, shining global attention on Latin music talent with a bilingual, bicultural identity at America’s most-watched celebration.
