One of the most awaited moments of next year will be decided sooner than later. The Super Bowl Half Time Show 2026 artist is currently unknown, but its production is taking the first steps.
The NFL announced the venue for the Super Bowl LX, which is called after the 60th anniversary of the first sports spectacle. The Northern Football League chose the Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara -in California- to host the event. The choice of the mid-time artist depends on both the NFL and Jay-Z’s Roc Nation. The popular event is set to take place on February 8, 2026.

People are patiently waiting for the official announcement. Nevertheless, the public eye spoke about a list of possible headliner artists. Some of the superstars that lead the rumors are Adele, Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, Metallica and Green Day.
Taylor Swift is one of the artists in the talks. NFL’s Commissioner Roger Goodell actively welcomed her for the show in an interview on NBC’s Today. “We would always love to have Taylor play,” Goodell said. “She is a special, special talent, and obviously she would be welcome at any time.”

Rumors focus on Adele
The most talked about name to take the spotlight is Adele. According to Page Six the singer-songwriter is discussing her appearance at the show: “Adele has been approached about playing the 2026 Super Bowl halftime show, but she has not been booked to play the gig. Adele’s fiancé Rich Paul is one of sports’ biggest agents, and the British crooner has attended the Super Bowl before as a fan. But she quipped at a Las Vegas gig to her fans in 2024 of her being in the stands, ‘Last year I went, obviously I didn’t go for the football at all. I went to watch Rihanna’.”

The thing is, this is not the first time for Adele to discuss the Super Bowl Half Time Show. Back in 2016, she affirmed that she turned down the deal for the next year.
“I mean, come on, that show is not about music. And I don’t really… I can’t dance or anything like that. They were very kind, they did ask me, but I said no.” Adele on performing at the 2017 Super Bowl Half Time Show
Althougth nothing has yet been confirmed, every media talks about Adele to perform in Super Bowl LX. We will have to wait until any of the main trusted sources -NFL or Pepsi- confirm the signing with the british superstar.
Fans thrilled about having Adele performing in such an event. The Hello and Someone Like You artist took an undefined hiatus from music last year. After her amazing run of shows across the world she took a step back to focus on herself. This could be the best way to make her very awaited comeback onstage.
